How is your sound these days?
I am going to focus on the guitar sound that started eveything years back. I had have many good events where the singer was in the center. It usually lead to a style defined by the style of the singer. It is matural because I feel that the music should follow the natural story the singer presents to support the song. It takes away the attention to the music itself.
What will you do about it?
Well, I will go back so the style closer to the starting point. The singer will be less central in sound. It means that the vocal is more in the back ground. To compensate for the veaker singing vocal harmonies might be added.
Will you sing your own songs?
Yes, I might. I am not a trained singer. But if is better for the overall expression of my style.
Are the long improvised guitar solo is back?
No. There are no plans to go back to very long guitar solos as in the past. Basically I do not think that the time is for long solos. It may come back. Of course some of the song will have longer improvised solos. Improvisation will be still be the basis in my music style but in a shorter version.
Can you explain what your style is all about?
The music style attempt be create the basis for a good feeling. It is the feeling of being alive. But there is more to it. There is story telling and then trying uo find the moments. You know when everything is floating free and you stop to think. But it cannot be chased. You just have be there without any no intensions of trying and then susdenly the moment is there. Then is the job of the musician to grab the moments and transform into music.
Is it always so?
Mo, sometimes you dont get even in a long night. Music alive is always without a net. So you never know if it was a god gig or not before the last note has been played.
