Finns pizza recipe
Pizza dough:
- 15 g yeast.
- 1 cup of lukewarm water.
- 2 cups of pizza flour (tipo 00).
- ½ Tsp. salt.
- ½ Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil.
- Semola flour.
1) Dissolve the yeast in ¼ dl lukewarm water
2) Stir most of the flour in and let the dough rest for 30-60 min.
3) Gather the dough into a pile and press in together
4) Add more flour, water, olive oil and salt to the dough.
5) The dough should stay as sticky and wet as possible.
6) Consider to devide the dough in two pieces.
Sugo tomato sauce:
- 2 small onions.
- 2 crushed garlic bulbs.
- 1 kg. fresh sweet tomatoes (or canned tomatoes).
- 1-2 dl. olive oil.
- Oregano and basil.
- Salt and peber (chili og paprika).
1) Boil the sauce if fresh tomatoes – add a little water if needed.
Pizza toppings (a few suggestions):
1) Pepperoni, red paprika.
2) Ham, red paprika, mushroom.
3) Meat sauce, onion and mushroom.
4) Shrimps, mussels, red paprika, mushroom.
5) Pharma ham.
6) Free choice of toppings – almost everything can be used.
For some pizzas, please feel free to add: Pineapple, chili, garlic, oregano.
Pizza baking:
1) Flatten a piece of dough on semola flour, so it does not stick.
2) Add a thin layer of tomato sauce.
3) Add a thin layer of mozzarella cheese.
4) Addt a thin layer of pizza toppings.
5) A little more mozzarella cheese can be added.
6) Leave the pizza a few minutes to let the yeast rest.
7) Bake in hot oven in 10-20 min (red the oven manual).
8) Alternative: Grill the pizza in a kettle grill in 5-15 minutes on a pizza stone
Remember: A pizza should be very thin and flat with just a little pizza toppings.
Serve:
- The pizza is cut into small pieces, can be eaten with the hand.
- Choose a suitable red wine, white wine or bear.
- 1 bowl of chili in olive oil and 1 bowl with crushed garlic in olive oil.
