Copenhagen club band
Finn and Ulrik FAQmann started with junior to play in a club in the mid 1990's.
KBH café band quickly became house band in a little club in the centre of Copenhagen near Nørreport. The duo was on a few occasions reinforced by Junior on drums and bass. The band played a lot of different song by Jimi Hendrix, Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival and numerous other great artists as well as a few originals. The band had a small but dedicated number of fans, who loved to sit and listen to the music. The band had plans but they never managed follow up on them. Later Jørgen Bridge on bass joined the band for a few exercises.
In 2003 one piece of music was recorded for the BEVIS FROND tribute album "STRYPNICK". The song is called "Splendid Isolation". The line-up masked under the name PSYCHODELHI UNKNOWNS and this occasion included : Finn on acoustic rhythm and lead guitar and harmonica, Jørgen on draught bass and Ulrik on electric lead/rhythm guitar and lead vocals. Live in a café in Copenhagen, Friday June 6, 1996
The band actually made own posters, but most of them have been lost.
Hopeful they will show up some day. Luckily one of them has been found. This advertises a gig in the centre of Copenhagen in a small club.
Acoustic guitar and vocal accompanied with beer and great socialising. The hip fan, Lærke, dancing to the music that afternoon will never be forgotten.
Ulrik and Finn continues their musical collaboration to this day on a in-frequent basis. Since 2002 Ulrik has been working on a far from finished solo-album with the working title "YOU have intimidated my artistic integrity ". Finn is supposed to be featured on several tracks including "Aqua Des Sagres" which the duo used to play in the old café-days. Of other projects that perhaps will come to surface along time from now is a instrumental called "Bossa Nova Mand!" and a "shock-teraphy-album" with the working title "Onani i et demokrati / Masturbation in a Nation".
